Join us for Worship!

We are a congregation committed to justice and reconciliation for all persons, regardless of age, race, economic or marital status, gender or sexual orientation. We hope your time with us in worship will be a joyful celebration of life and faith.

• Sundays at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. Children's Message, Sunday School & Child care is provided.

• Our pastors can be counted on for great sermons that both challenge and nurture each and every Sunday.

• Come into The Gathering, a progressive communion service Mondays at 7:00 in the Nave at St. Paul's Chapel on the campus of Columbia University. The Gathering is over for the 2007-2008 school year but will return in the fall.

Worship at St. Paul and St. Andrew is inspiring, thought-provoking, and usually entertaining, too. The atmosphere is one of warm fellowship and inclusiveness.

Every Sunday offers something a little different. There may be a liturgical dance, dramatic scripture reading, lessons delivered by puppets for the children, and songs the congregation can learn and sing in different languages. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month and everyone is invited to partake. There are many different ways to discover or renew one's faith at St. Paul and St. Andrew. Wherever you are in your life and faith journey, there is a place for you in worship at SPSA.

All are invited to The Gathering, a progressive communion service. The worship service is on Mondays at 7:00pm at St. Paul's Chapel. Rejuvenate your spirits, worship in community, and give your soul some rest. The Gathering promises some new, creative, inventive ways to worship God. Our worship team includes piano, guitar, jazz saxophone, and drums. We seek to find space in the middle of the city for meditation, singing, praying, and praise. The service is especially welcoming to students and young adults. There are also several special Gatherings planned with particular themes reflecting current events, holidays, and special observances.
